No, Bite Beauty is cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified.

DO BITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS CONTAIN FRAGRANCE?

Hey, we’re clean, not boring. That said, we’ll always be transparent with you: We use both naturally derived scents and less than 1% of synthetic fragrance. We consider it indulging responsibly.

IS BITE BEAUTY VEGAN?

Yes, Bite Beauty products are vegan.

Our reason to go vegan was simple-we’ve evolved. We can create high-performance formulas without ingredients that come from animals. As we’ve been innovating with superfoods, we’ve learned we can get amazing results that perform on par with-if not better than-formulas that contain animal byproducts.
Further, we wanted to create products everyone can love-including people who crave clean, cruelty-free and vegan beauty.

IS LIP LAB VEGAN?

Lip Lab custom lipsticks are clean, cruelty free, and gluten free, but we’re not vegan yet. As we have with Bite, we are working to take Lip Lab completely vegan as soon as possible.

ARE BITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?

Yes, Bite Beauty products are gluten free.

DO BITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS CONTAIN PARABENS?

Bite Beauty is free of parabens, phthalates and sulfates.

WHERE CAN I GET BITE BEAUTY INTERNATIONALLY?

In addition to BiteBeauty.com, you can shop Bite Beauty in Canada at Sephora, Sephora.ca, and Lip Lab. Bite Beauty is also available in Australia at Sephora. More countries coming soon.

WHEN CAN I GET PRODUCTS THAT ARE OUT OF STOCK?

Make sure that you are signed up for emails from BiteBeauty.com in order to find out about limited edition releases from our vault. We also announce restock updates on Instagram, @bitebeauty.

HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR FREE SHIPPING?

Bite Beauty offers FREE International Shipping on all Canada merchandise orders of $35 and over (excluding taxes). For shipments totaling less than $35, there is a delivery charge based on shipping method selected at checkout.

WHAT IS A HAZMAT PRODUCT?

Certain items are considered hazmat, or hazardous materials which include aerosols and alcohol-based products (e.g. pressurized spray cans, hairspray, nail polish remover, etc.) and are restricted and required by the U.S. Department of Transportation to be shipped by ground-only transport, due to air transport restrictions and regulations. These items cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.

WHICH PRODUCTS ARE CONSIDERED HAZMAT?

At this time, BiteBeauty.com does not carry any Hazmat products.

HOW CAN I FIND THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

We get it, you want your products as soon as you can get them: Find the status of a particular order and view your Order History on the Order Status tracking page under My Account. Please note that the Order History will not be updated until the product(s) have shipped.

MY ORDER IS MISSING AN ITEM.

We might not have had all of the desired items in stock when your package was shipped. If this is the case, the shipping confirmation email should tell you which products might still be outstanding and awaiting shipment. If a product does not get shipped, of course you will not be charged for it. If you have any more questions or concerns, please reach out to us at 1.844.500.BITE (2482), 24 hours, 7 days a week, excluding holidays. Have your order number ready, and let us know which products you are missing.

RETURNING DEFECTIVE/WRONG ITEMS

Please send the defective or incorrect item(s) back to us, using the free returns process. Once we receive the returned item(s), we will gladly send you a replacement. Use the return form included in your original packaging or contact Customer Service at 1-844-500-2483.

GIFT WITH PURCHASE RETURNS

If you received a FREE product or FREE gift with your purchase, you must include it with your return shipment in order to be refunded in the original form of payment.

CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY BITEBEAUTY.COM PURCHASE AT LIP LAB?

Sorry, purchases from BiteBeauty.com cannot be returned or exchanged at Lip Lab or other authorized retailers.

SALES TAX

WHERE IS SALES TAX CHARGED?

We charge sales tax for items shipped to the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, and WY.

We collect the simplified sellers use tax on items delivered into Alabama and the tax will be remitted on the customer’s behalf to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Seller’s program account number is SSU-R010380889.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT?

To register for a Bite Beauty account, you just need to provide your name, email address, and password. Don’t worry about filling out the rest of your account information right away—shipping, billing, and address can be provided later. Once registered, you can check out your order status, order history, and manage your account.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY LOGIN E-MAIL ADDRESS OR PASSWORD?

You can change your login email address and password by clicking on "My Information" within your account. Please note that your email subscriptions will be sent to your new email address and any emails related to the order will go to the email address provided at checkout.

I'M HAVING TROUBLE WITH MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION FOR MY ONLINE ORDER.

If you receive an error message related to credit card authorization failure, double check that the billing address on the credit card and matches your account billing address, try re-entering your CVN or security code, and be sure that the card is current (not expired) and valid. WHAT IS INSTALLMENTS BY AFTERPAY?

Installments by Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in four payments made every 2 weeks without any interest.

HOW DO I USE INSTALLMENTS BY AFTERPAY?

Simply shop online and add items to your shopping bag and checkout as normal. At the checkout choose Installments by Afterpay as your payment method. First-time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details, as usual, returning customers simply log in to make their purchase. It’s that easy!

Please note that all items in your shopping bag must be eligible for Installments by Afterpay. A minimum purchase amount may apply and you must meet additional eligibility requirements to qualify.

WHERE CAN I USE INSTALLMENTS BY AFTERPAY?

CAN I USE INSTALLMENTS BY AFTERPAY IF I’M AN INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER?

Afterpay is only offered to our customers who have a US billing address, US shipping address, a US Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit card), and a US mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses, shipping addresses, and/or phone numbers will not be able to set up an account with Afterpay.

HOW DOES THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE WORK?

All customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase, with the remaining three payments deducted every two weeks from your chosen payment method. If you choose to make additional payments before your scheduled pay dates, you may do so through your Afterpay account.

You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so.

Afterpay is not available on purchases of gift cards. If you are purchasing gift cards along with Afterpay eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders.

HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE AN ITEM PURCHASED USING INSTALLMENTS BY AFTERPAY?

If you have changed your mind, you can return your Afterpay purchase by mail for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy here. Afterpay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to Afterpay.
